Privacy

A short, plain privacy note

We keep this simple, because we keep very little. Here is exactly what happens with your information, written to meet the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who is responsible

The data controller is [legal name of the operator] (see the legal notice), reachable at hello@yoga18emeparis.com. The studio is small enough that the person reading your email is the person responsible for your data.

What we store on your device

To make the site work we use necessary browser storage only, to remember whether you prefer the day or dusk theme, and to keep you signed in to your practice page. No advertising cookies, no third-party trackers, no analytics profiling.

What you share when you book

When you reserve a class or a Supper Club seat, we ask for your name and email so we can send a payment link and confirm your spot. We ask for nothing we do not need.

Why we may use it (legal bases): handling your booking and payment is performance of a contract (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); practical messages about a class you booked, such as a time change or a cancelled dinner, are our legitimate interest in running the studio (art. 6(1)(f)). We send no marketing without asking you first (consent, art. 6(1)(a)).

How long: booking records are kept for the season and up to 3 years after your last visit, then deleted. Accounting records that include payments are kept as long as French law requires.

Payments

Payment is handled through a secure link sent to your email. Card details are never entered on this website and we never see or store them.

Your rights

You can clear the stored theme and session at any time from your browser settings. To ask what we hold, or to have your details removed, message us on WhatsApp or email hello@yoga18emeparis.com and we will take care of it.

Under the GDPR you can ask for access to what we hold, correction, deletion, a portable copy, restriction of use, or object to a use, and where something rests on consent, withdraw it at any time. One email is enough; we answer within a month.

If you believe we have not treated your information properly, you can complain to the French supervisory authority, the CNILcnil.fr.

Where your data lives

Today, this preview stores everything in your own browser. Nothing is sent to a server. When live bookings and accounts are switched on, the studio's records will be hosted within the European Union, and this note will name the provider and region.

A note on this preview

While the studio site is being finalised, the practice page and studio dashboard run on a local demo dataset stored in your own browser. Nothing is sent to a server. When live payments and accounts are switched on, this note will be updated to match.
